Definition
Indicates that a user has manually changed the priority value previously calculated by the system from within the Component Maintenance Cockpit (CMC).
Procedure
Examples
The system displays a manually fixed priority value inside dashes (that is, - X -, where X would be the fixed priority value).
Dependencies
Once a priority value has been changed manually the system no longer recalculates the value. For this reason, you should use this feature with caution, as the manually fixed value may no longer reflect the actual situation; and may also cause problems for other work centers involved in the repair process.
A manually fixed priority value can be reset to automatic calculation by calling the dialog box to change the priority value and selecting the Reset button.
You have to select the Refresh button to see the result.
