Definition

Indicator that specifies that only document items relevant for checks should be transferred to the dangerous goods check.

Procedure

If you normally dispatch very few dangerous goods, set the indicator so that only document items relevant for checks are transferred to dangerous goods checks.

If you do not set the indicator, all document items are transferred to dangerous goods checks. According to the item type, the following document items are then checked:

  • Normal items

    These items are always checked.

  • Value items

    These items are only checked if the material in the material master

    has been assigned a DG indicator profile.

  • Text items

    These items are only checked if the material in the material master

    has been assigned an indicator profile.

  • Packaging items

    These items are not checked.

Item types are set under item categories. You define item categories in Customizing for Sales and Distribution.
