Definition
Used to uniquely assign transit countries to the stages in a transport document or a route.
Use
If the transit country table is to be taken into account as well as the shipment stages in the shipping or sales document for a route with stages or in the shipment document, then use the sequence to specify the route or shipment stage to which the transit country is to be assigned. Routes and shipment stages are always assigned the transit countries that lie in sequence between the departure and destination countries of the stage. The transit countries are then assigned the shipping type for the stage. The mode of transport category relevant for dangerous goods management is derived from the shipping type.
Procedure
Enter the sequence in which the transit country entered is to be assigned to the route or shipment stage.
Example
Sequence 1 for DE (Germany), sequence 2 for BE (Belgium), and sequence 3 for GB (Great Britain).
