Definition
Describes a name component that is an additional title of a natural person to indicate noble origin.
This could be a title of nobility, but there are other possibilities.
Use
Possible name prefixes are stored in a check table.
You can define the name prefixes and their descriptions in Customizing.
You can
- use the possible entries help
- enter a valid name prefix
- or enter the associated key.
The system checks whether the entry is valid, using the texts in the value table.
The prefix is displayed in the screen field in text form. The associated key is stored in the database.
