Documentation
Definition
A chart of depreciation is a list of depreciation areas drawn up according to business requirements. The company codes in the same country usually use the same chart of depreciation.
Use
You need to enter a chart of depreciation in order to specify which account types (balance sheet accounts, depreciation accounts) can be customized for the different depreciation area. This takes place based on the definition of the depreciation area in the chart of accounts.
Dependencies
The chart of depreciation you enter here either has to be the same as the chart of depreciation assigned to the source company code, or it has to be a separate chart of depreciation that is not assigned to any company code.
