Use
Here you enter the depreciation area which supplies the account determination for posting to a parallel general ledger or in the alternative company code (obsolete solution). Normally this should be depreciation area 01.
Notes for the method using an alternative company code: Copy the account set of the source company code to the target company code. The target depreciation area has to be entered in the system for the chart of depreciation you entered, in order for the system to be able to uniquely determine the accounts. The chart of depreciation has to be active, but it is not mandatory for it to be assigned to a company code.
