Definition
You can use the scheduling period to determine the length of time for which the system creates maintenance calls during maintenance plan scheduling.
If you enter a scheduling period, waiting releases are created for this period. As a result, you should only set the scheduling period if you want long-term planning.
However, when you start again or start in the cycle, despite the scheduling period, the system establishes that at least one date (either with the status "waiting" or "called up") is generated. Even if the status is less than the cycle used.
If you do not enter a scheduling period, the system ensures that at least one waiting release exists. planning.
Example
If a maintenance plan contains monthly maintenance packages and calls are to be scheduled for the whole year, you must set the scheduling period to 365 (days) or 1 (year), depending on the unit that you have specified for the scheduling period.
Note
You can use the scheduling overview for long-term overviews.
Supplementary Documentation - ABRHO 0001
Use
Within the stability study, the scheduling period determines the planned duration of the entire study, for example, 5 years.
Dependencies
Choose a scheduling period that is long enough. When dates are later scheduled automatically within the definition of the start date of the stability study, only inspection dates that are within the scheduling period are calculated.
