Definition

A payroll accounting area is an organizational unit for which uniform specifications regarding payroll accounting are set up.

Use

The accounting programs work, as a rule, with different personnel areas and employee subgroups at different times. Accounting areas are defined as groupings of these terms.

The program that is to prepare data for accounting selects the datasets according to accounting areas.

Procedure

In an accounting area, all employees, regardless of status (salaried employees, industrial workers, etc.), who are accounted at the same time are grouped together.
