Definition
Value of the work in process.
Use
This is the difference between the actual cost debit and the actual cost credit of an order if the debits exceed the credits and the order has not been delivered or technically completed.
You can transfer the work in process to Financial Accounting and Profit Center Accounting (EC-PCA) when you settle the order.
Prerequisites
You must first calculate the work in process in period-end closing of Cost Object Controlling.
