Step identifier
You can issue step identifiers for derivation rules and enhancements as a step property.
- In the case of derivation rules, this identifier allows you to access rule maintenance directly from the initial screen (see Goto -> Direct Call Using Step ID). This is useful when creating a batch input program, for example.
- In the case of enhancements, this is the identifier that is forwarded to the exit function. In this way, you can differentiate between different steps.
