Definition

Specifies whether the system automatically adopts changes made to the asset master data in the equipment master record.

Use

  • No synchronization

    When the asset master data is changed, the system does not change the equipment master data.

  • Direct synchronization after saving

    When the asset master data is changed, the system automatically changes the equipment master data.

  • Saving triggers a workflow

    The system does not synchronize the master data, instead it triggers a workflow.

  • Direct synchronization plus workflow

    The system synchronizes the master data, and also triggers a workflow.

Dependencies

The system only synchronizes those master data fields for which a field assignment was made and activated in Customizing.
