Documentation
Definition
Equipment can be settled in acordance with its shipping documents and on a daily basis or in accordance with its performance-based equipment (PBE) documents and on an hourly basis.
Which of these settlement types (according to shipping documents, according to PBE documents, according to both or according to none) the system implements used to be controlled by a stock check indicator for the equipment type in Customizing and an indicator in the customer master record of the appropriate recipient (PBE as TBE).
There is now a new settlement logic which is based on two new indicators in the equipment master record (settlement with shipping document and settlement with PBE document) and the above-mentioned indicator in the recipeint master record.
If you make no entry in this field, the system uses the old logic for settlement purposes.
If you enter an X in this field, the system uses the new settlement logic.
Please note that you must maintain the above-mentioned indicators in the equipment master record if you want to settle equipment using the new settlement logic.
