Definition
An indicator that defines that an attribute of the proxy model is redundant.
Use
It is possible to map different attributes from the proxy model to the same attribute of the internal model . In this case, these additional attributes are redundant from the proxy model point of view and may only be supplied with the value and the change notifications from the internal attribute. However, changing the value or the properties of this attribute is only possible on the main attribute. The additional attributes should be marked as Redundant Attributes.
Dependencies
Example
Due to modeling constraints, it is necessary in the following example to define an additional structured C attribute with attributes A and B if C needs to be defined as an alternative key. It is defined in this manner because the indicator that is used to define an attribute as alternative key is only available on the main structure:
Node N with node structure M and attributes A and B plus technical structured attribute C (defined as alternative key) with attributes A and B.
