Use

The Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in function module IVIEW_PROMO_OVERVIEW and enables you to alter generated tables individually.

The function module calls the BAdI shortly before the end of the process and enables you to edit the following tables:

  • GT_PROMOTION_HEADER: contains the promotion data
  • CT_FIELDCAT: contains the meta data for the individual columns of GT_PROMOTION_HEADER
  • CT_HYPERLINKS: contains the hyperlinks referenced in GT_PROMOTION_HEADER in the LINKS column
  • CT_SORT: contains the columns according to which the table should be sorted initially

The BAdI provides many options for shaping the result of the promotion search individually, for example,

  • Insert new columns
  • Delete existing columns
  • Change contents of a column (for example, status information)
  • Set different sort sequence
  • Set a different column sequence
  • Insert a column with LEDs or other icons
  • Change column title
  • Change or enhance tooltips for individual columns
