Use

In this IMG activity, you activate the direct entry in the worklist for document adjustment following condition changes (table WIND). Activation of the direct entry function is performed separately for different document categories.

If the indicator for direct entry is set, then when the user saves a condition change - including when he or she creates a new condition - an entry for the selected document categories is made in the worklist. This is the case if the additional filter settings for creating worklists are filled (scope of change for the direct entry, individual controls using Business Add-In WIND_UPDATE and filter settings for the condition types).

If the indicator is not set, worklists are created using the previous procedure where the entries are created from the change pointer analysis. Use report RMEBEIN4 or transaction MEI4 for this.

Requirements

Ensure that you really use the specific follow-on processing functions for condition changes. These may include, for example, adjusting purchasing documents in the document category 01 (purchase order/ scheduling agreement), creating pricing worklist entries in document category 10 (pricing) and analyzing condition changes for document category 55 (POS outbound). These are all document categories for which you would like to set the direct entry indicator.

The follow-on processing deletes the worklist entries. If the direct entry indicator has been set and you are not doing any follow-on processing, you risk entries being deleted from the worklist that you do not want to delete.

Activities

Set the direct entry indicator for the document categories for which you want to create direct entries in the worklist for condition changes.

Note the particular features involved in the process of converting from the "old" procedure to the "new" direct entry procedure using the change pointer analysis function. You should execute the program run for enhancing the worklist entries to include condition header data (report RMEBEMIG) for any entries that are still in the worklist. You should set the direct entry indicator straight after doing this. The report can also set the direct entry indicator automtically.

Note also that change pointers do not have to be updated for message type CONDBI if you use the procedure for direct entries in the worklist for all document categories where you use follow-on processing. If you converted from the old to the new procedure for the document categories that you use, you could deactivate the update of change pointers if you do not really use it.

Example

You want to use the pricing worklist function in pricing for the first time. Set the direct entry indicator for this activity.
