Use

You can use this activity to start Web Channel Builder.

Web Channel Builder is an administration application that you can use to create and configure your Web Shops. Here you define, for example, the content of your Web Shop (product catalog), as well as the sales processes.

Requirements

In transaction Configuration of RFC Connections (SM59), you have created a new HTTP connection to an external server.

  • You have created a connection of type G (HTTP Connections to External Server).
  • You have entered the technical name COMWECBUILDERLAUNCH as the RFC Destination.
    Note: The RFC connection with this technical name is connected to the administration application Web Channel Builder. You must therefore use this exact technical name.
  • Under Technical Settings, you have made the Target System Settings:
    • You have entered the target host and the system ID (service number).
    • You have entered the following string as the path prefix: /wcb/index.html

      The URL for starting Web Channel Builder is created by linking these two entries.
