Use

In this IMG activity, you define the general parameters for various applications in pricing.

In the section "Validity start date in sales price calculation", you define the validity start date that is to be shown as the default in the selection screen when you call sales price calculation (create, change, display sales price calculation). Depending on the default type, you can predate the validity start date by a specific number of days from the current date, or you can define certain weekdays. This means that the date of the defined weekday following the current weekday is copied.

To give you a clear overview in the initial screen for integrated material maintenance, not all selection parameters for the purchase price and sales price determination sequence are shown when you first call the sales screen. You can enter default values for the purchase price and sales price determination sequence under "Default values for material master maintenance". These values are included in integrated material maintenance when you first call the sales screen. If you do not enter any values, the parameters are taken from the SAP memory.

Sales price calculation for distribution chains or price lists is based on a reference plant that you assign to the distribution chain or price list under Assign Pricing Type/Reference Plant to Organizational Level. In sales price determination using the sales price calculation schema, conditions for the reference plant can be included, or conditions for the distribution chain or price list can have priority. This could apply for the planned markup, for example. You can therefore set an indicator under "Sales price calculation: distribution chain or price list" so that the reference plant is set in sales price determination. This enables the associated conditions to be included.

In section "Default values for document quantities in price determination", you can define document quantities for price determinations within sales price calculation that are to be included in certain situations. Such a situation may arise if, for example, the standard quantity entered in the purchase info record for an external vendor is very small - less than 1, for example. This can cause rounding errors in price determination for sales price calculation. In this case, you can set a minimum order value to be used instead of the standard quantity. The second situation occurs with internal vendors, for which document quantities cannot be derived from master data. You can therefore enter default values for purchase and sales price calculation here.

In the work area Define and Assign Pricing Prodcedures for the basic functions of the plant, you define which schemas are to be used for which business transactions in price determination. In section "Schema determination for sales price calculation", you can enter a specific document schema for this schema determination. This document schema enables you to use specific schemas when determining sales prices in the Retail system, for instance in the assortment list. These schemas are simpler than in the sales order, for instance. This allows you to improve performance when determining sales prices in the retail system.
