An online store is a point of sale in the Internet, which can be used to either present products (IAC product catalog) or to present and sell products (IAC online store).
If you call the IAC Product catalog or IAC Online store, an online store can be transferred. If one is not transferred, a selection list containing all the online stores that exist for an initial authorization is displayed.
In this step, you define the online store master records.
You can use the master record to control whether the online store is to be operated without the option of ordering.
The authorization group controls whether the authorization to start the online store exists.
You use the product catalog to define the product offering.
For each online store, you can select profiles for product presentation, order processing, and customer management, which are defined in the preceding steps.
You use the RFC destination to control which systems the product catalog and material data are read from and customer and sales order data is processed in.
You can use a reference customer to add data that the user does not enter via the Internet.

Further notes
In the application, the online store can either be transferred in the URL or as a SET/GET parameter of the user the ITS used to log on in the SAP system. In the former case, the URL must have the following structure for the IAC Online store (service WW20):
http://.../scripts/wgate.dll/ww20/!?~okcode=start&ostore=<onlinestore>,
whereby <onlinestore> is the name of the online store. (If service WW10 (IAC product catalog) is used, WW20 must be replaced by WW10).
If the online store is taken from the GET/SET parameter, the URL must have the following structure:
http://.../scripts/wgate.dll/ww20/!?~okcode=start
An online store transferred in a URL has a higher priority than an online store in a SET/GET parameter.
