Use
Merchandise Category Hierarchy and Article Hierarchy from SAP R/3 will be mapped in SAP F&R in one Object: Product Hierarchies.
To differenciate in SAP F&R between the Hierarchy Types, the SAP F&R Hierarchy Type will have to be transmitted from SAP R/3 as an Attribute when Transmission of Hierarchies takes place.
Requirements
Hierarchy Types are defined in SAP F&R Customizing and will have to be entered in this Customizing Activity.
Path to find Hierarchy Types in SAP F&R:
SAP Reference IMG => Advanced Planning and Optimization => Master Data => Hierarchy => Define Hierarchy Structure
Without these Settings no Hierarchy Data will be transmitted to SAP F&R.
