The settings for the units of measure are not normally identical in the POS systems and SAP Retail. In this activity, you define the conversion of unit of measure settings.
Requirements
Your system is configured as an SAP Retail System.
The relevant conversion category needs to have been maintained.
Recommendation
If your POS system and SAP Retail use the same settings for units of measure, switch off conversion by setting the appropriate conversion parameter. In this case, you do not need to carry out this Customizing activity.
Activities
Enter the required conversion rules for all units of measure.
Further notes
Units of measure are converted both via a download and via an upload, by means of a user exit. If you want to convert the units using an algorithm rather than manually, you can alter the program code of the user exit accordingly.
