Use
Assign a sales-price-revaluation profile to the purchase-value-change profile.
Requirements
Note the following:
- The sales-price-revaluation profile must be a profile that does not affect margins.
- The system only evaluates the purchase-value-change profile for non-value-only materials when there is a total revaluation at retail.
- The system determines the sales-price-revaluation profile within a sales price revaluation. By default the system stores the revaluation profile in the master data at plant-level or plant-material-group-level. If you want to assign the purchase value-change profile to a revaluation profile, then it can sometimes be necessary to create new revaluation profiles.
Example:
If you need different purchase-value-change profiles for various plants, it can be necessary that you create a new revaluation profile, even though these plants possibly require the same settings.
In this case you can create a BAdI implementation for the BAdI HYBRID_METHOD_PROF_MATKL for the WBEF_HYBRID_PROF_MATKL enhancement spot or for the BAdI HYBRID_METHOD_PROF_MATNR for the WBEF_HYBRID_PROF_MATNR enhancement spot.
- If a purchase-value-change profile is not assigned, the sales-price- revaluation is performed according to the revaluation profile.
Example:
If a revaluation that does not affect margins is defined in the revaluation profile, then an automatic total revaluation that does not affect margins is always revalued. The Initialization/Correction of the Valuation at Retail function is an exception to this. Here it
is always revalued to affect the margins, irrespective of the
revaluation profile setting.
- If you later change the not affecting margins indicator in the sales price-revaluation profile then the system ignores a purchase-value- change profile assigned using Customizing and the BAdI implementation .
