Use
In this IMG activity, you make the settings for the graphical representation of the sequence schedule and the visualization of the order characteristics.
Activities
- Definition of Order Characteristics
In the section Order Characteristics, you define the order characteristics with which you want to graphically represent the status of a planned order. To do so, you specify a characteristic group that controls the properties of the order characteristic and, if necessary, one or more fields of a table that deliver the value. If you wish to visualize delivery problems, for example, choose the group Date Difference and calculate this date difference from the material staging date minus the production end date.
- Definition of Order Profile
In the section Order Profiles you decide whether the quick info text is to show the number of the planned order of the sales order or the material number. The info text is displayed if you position the cursor on an order bar. You can also choose the view of the orders of a line segment, i.e. whether the sequence schedule displays a planned order at the time of the first takt (incoming orders) or at the time of the last takt (outgoing orders) in the case of line segments with several takts.
- Assignment of Order Characteristics
In the section Characteristic Assignment, you can assign up to three order characteristics to an order profile. For each characteristic, you then specify the possible characteristic values (values of the order characteristics) and assign an element type (color) to this characteristic value. The sequence schedule will then display three graphic elements in the relevant color in the order bars of the planned orders. You can specify a color for the characteristic values date difference "=", "<" and ">", for example.
- Definition of Visualization Profile
In the section Visualization Profile, you assign the previously defined order profile to a visualisation profile. You then specify the column width of a day and the column width for the medium-term planning horizon (via a factor).
Furthermore, via the number of lines, you can specify how many lines per day are to be displayed for a line segment. - Automatic Refresh
- You can specify a time after which the display of the sequence planning board is automatically updated. If planned orders are changed or confirmed in parallel, after the data in the sequence planning board is updated after the refresh. The automatic refreshing of the sequence planning board is possible in sequencing display mode only - not in change mode.
- Display of Current Time
- If you set this indicator, a vertical line showing the current point in time appears on the sequence planning board. The time display is updated if you choose Refresh on the sequence planning board or if you have set Automatic Refresh.
- Default Profile of Plant
For a plant, you can specify a default profile that is used by the system if no entries have been made on the initial screen for Sequencing or in the user-specific settings.
Further tips
You can change the settings for the visualization profile on the sequence planning board on a user-specific basis.
