Use

In this IMG activity, you can activate time zone support for different work areas within plant maintenance, and process certain objects in any time zone you wish.

This function is possible for the following objects:

  • Orders
  • Notifications
  • Confirmations
  • Measuring points
  • Measurement documents
  • Pieces of equipment
  • Functional locations
  • Revisions
  • Structure lists
  • Multilevel lists
  • Serial number history

Note

When you activate this function in Customizing, all times saved so far are interpreted as times in the system time zone, and converted to the reference time zone of the user. This means that the times on the user interface may have changed by a maximum of 24 hours. There is no conversion of data. The conversion of data takes place only on the user interface.

If you deactivate this function again in Customizing, the times and dates are no longer converted. This means that they are displayed as saved (in the system time zone). For this reason, we recommend that you keep this function once you have activated it.
