Use

In this activity, you maintain parameters that are required for the system to calculate the amount of rent adjustment according to New Urban Lease Act (NULA) for a given year.

Requirements

You have:

  • Defined the tenancy law for Portugal in the Define Tenancy Law activity
  • Defined the adjustment rule that you want to use for the NULA rent adjustment calculation in the Define Adjustment Rules activity
  • Defined a Portuguese class and index series without a base year and entered the consumer price indexes for every year of the NULA rent adjustment in the Enter Index Level activity

Standard settings

Activities

  1. Enter the number of the tenancy law and choose Enter.
  2. Enter the same adjustment rule as you have defined in the Define Adjustment Rules activity.
  3. Specify the percentage of the rent adjustment for the necessary validity period.
  4. Specify the maximum amount of the NULA rent adjustment:
    • For the first year
    • For subsequent years
