Use

In this Customizing activity, you define the surcharge code and rate for property tax calculation and you specify whether the surcharge code is relevant to interest, that is, interest is calculated for the surcharge amount.

In Spain, you as a property owner are responsible for the payment of property tax to the relevant municipality within the time period specified by the municipality. If you do not make the payment within this time period, you must pay a surcharge for the delay. The percentage of the surcharge is defined by the municipality.

Requirements

You have made the following settings:

  • You have defined a reference interest rate in the Customizing activity Define Reference Interest Rates.
  • You have specified the required interest rates that are dependent on the date for the reference interest rates in the Customizing activity Enter Interest Values.
