Use

In this Customizing activity, you make settings for the calculation and posting of the security deposit.

For security deposit processing, enter data as follows:

  • Enter the D020 (Agreed Deposit) condition type in the Agr. Cond. Type field
  • Enter the D010 (Calculated Deposit) condition type in the Calc. Cond. Type field
  • For the following payments, specify the condition types that are relevant to the security deposit contract and that carry information about the amounts of the security deposit:
    • When the tenant pays the security deposit to the owner of the rental object
    • When the owner of the rental object pays the whole or a certain percentage of the security deposit to the corresponding autonomous community
  • Specify the business partner role for the tenant and the autonomous community

    You can use a standard BP role for the tenant and autonomous community or you can create a new one in the Customizing activity Define BP Roles.

  • Specify the security deposit type

Requirements

You have defined the condition types in the Customizing activity Define Condition Types.
