Use
In this Customizing activity, you specify the planning plants in which safety information is required for the execution of maintenance work.
You must specify the planning plants that are safety relevant because the integration of safety information into maintenance processing is plant dependant. Only maintenance orders (including their corresponding jobs) and maintenance task lists that are created for planning plants specified in this activity have a safety plan.
Depending on your implementation, you may also have to make the following plant-specific settings:
- If you are working with an external risk management system, such as SAP BusinessObjects Risk Management, you must make settings for the assignment of safety measures in the list of planned safety measures.
- If you are working with work clearance management (WCM), you must specify a keyword ID for user-defined fields. This is necessary so that you can use WCM templates as safety measures. When you add a WCM template to an order as a safety measure, the system automatically generates an operation and adds the WCM template using the corresponding user-defined fields.
Requirements
In order to be able to add WCM templates as safety measures, you have created an appropriate keyword ID in the Customizing activity Define User Fields with the following user-defined fields:
- A caption text for the WCM template (for example, "WCM Template") in the Text field V_TCN00-SWRT0
- A caption text for the WCM template type (for example, "Template Type") in the Text field V_TCN00-SWRT1
Standard settings
Activities
- Enter the planning plants that are safety relevant.
- If you are working with an external risk management system, make the required settings for the assignment of safety measures:
- Automatic Assignment of Operation-Specific Safety Measures
- Safety measures are not automatically assigned by default.
- Activation of 'Apply' Action for Risk Responses
- The 'Apply' action for risk responses is activated by default.
If you are not working with an external risk management system, you can leave these fields empty. If you do select a value, it is ignored.
- If you are working with WCM, specify the keyword ID that the system uses when generating an operation for a WCM template added as a safety measure.
