Use

In this Customizing activity, you can assign search help objects to user interface (UI) fields used in the Business Package for Maintenance Worker. You can specify different search help objects depending on whether or not the demilitarized zone scenario (DMZ) is active for the field in question.

Requirements

Standard settings

This assignment replaces existing standard assignments.

Activities

If you want to change the search help assignment for a specific field, proceed as follows:

  1. Determine the name of the UI field and the name of the data structure that contains the field.
  2. Create an entry in the Customizing table and specify the following:
    1. The structure and the field
    2. DMZ status (if unsure, deselect the DMZ indicator)
    3. The required search help object

      Note

      Ensure that your search help supports the desired scenario since most search helps do not support demilitarized zones and some do not support WebDynpro.
