Recommendation
Although there is no prescribed naming convention for number groups in the Philippines, we recommend that you create one number group for each numbering period and name it intuitively. For example, number group PH2004 designates a number group to be used for the year 2004.
We also recommend that you create one number group for your company, and not one per business place. Since each business place must have its own unique number range, this helps ensure that none of your business place number ranges overlap or are duplicated. In the following activities, you then define number range intervals for your number group, and assign them to business places.
