In this section, you define planning layouts for payment planning or change existing layouts.

You use the planning layout to determine the contents of the header, lines, and columns of the planning screen, depending on your commercial requirements.

There are 3 standard layouts in the SAP system, which cover most planning requirements. You only need to specify your own planning layouts when the standard layouts do not satisfy your requirements.

The SAP system contains the following standard layouts for payment planning:

  • 1-PSCM1: Payment planning in controlling area currency
  • 1-PSCM2: Payment planning in any currency (transaction currency, object currency, or controlling area currency)
  • 1-PSCM3: Payment planning over a number of years

Requirements

Only client 000 in the standard system contains planning layouts. To use these standard layouts as templates for your own planning layouts, you must import the ones you need from client 000 to your productive client.

To do this, go to Project System customizing and work the step Import standard planning layouts.

Recommendation

You should repeat the import from client 000 each time you upgrade to a new release or maintenance level.

By so doing, you ensure that you always have the most up-to-date standard planning layouts available.

Activities

  1. Create planning layouts for manual payment planning according to your requirements.
  2. Change an existing planning layout.
