Use
In this activity, you define key areas in the target system. Typically, you would define key areas for specific users to prevent users overwriting each other's data.
Integration
This activity is optional within a package but must have been carried out at least once. It is not possible for a user to transfer data unless target ranges for all applicable object types have been defined.
Prerequisites
The phase must be active in order to maintain customizing data.
Activities
Permitted Project and Packid Combinations
The user name should be the sender system user name. The user that is actually used in the sender system can be influenced by setting theSND_LOGON
switch using the Set technical switches activity.
The Object Type refers to either the:
- Letter 'P' (indicates that this is a PA infotype)
or to the
- OTYPE value from the PD infotype.
The Maximum Number value determines how many key fields may be selected in one go for each maintained object type. This value does not apply to the expert mode. In other words, there is no check of the Maximum Number in expert mode.
Please consider the usage of the NEXT_KEY_OFF switch which you can maintain with the activity Set technical switches.
