Use
In this Customizing activity, you enter the times to maturity. The time to maturity is used to mark specific quotations for a direct access. For example, it enables the commodity pricing engine (CPE) to access directly the marked quotations in Logistics.
Example:
A specific quotation could be a future with a time to maturity of 3 months (3 months future) for aluminum. On a daily basis, the market data provider gives information regarding which future represents a 3 months quotation. This data can be stored in the market data table.
Time to Maturity Determination:
If, for a certain exchange, a time to maturity is specified for a specific price type, you have to enter here the respective combination of time to maturity, MIC and price type. In this case, the user has to enter the defined time to maturity in the market data records, i.e. by datafeed or manually in transaction Enter Commodity Prices based on DCS (FDCS17).
Requirements
If datafeed is supported, the Customizing settings of the datafeed (assignments and mapping) must be specified accordingly to make the market data import possible.
Note: If the market data import by a datafeed provider is not supported, you can mark the respective quotations when manually entering the market data.
