Movements and stock records in the Warehouse Management System contain a reference to the originating document.
- The requirement category describes the origin type (for example, goods receipt for a purchase order, goods issue for the cost center).
- The requirement tracking number describes the origin itself (for example, the purchase order number, the cost center).
The requirement categories are used for setting up the dynamic coordinate. Through a switch function, you can set the system so that the material document number from Inventory Management (GR/GI document number) is used to create the dynamic coordinate.
