Use
The enhanced notifications for Business Workflow enable the user to be informed by e-mail or SMS about work items that require processing. A notification can be:
- A simple text that informs the user about work items that require processing
- A descriptive text that includes links that enable the user to either display or execute a work item directly, or to display the workflow inbox in the Web browser.
- A descriptive text that includes executable attachments for displaying or executing a work item directly, or for displaying the workflow inbox in the SAP GUI.

Activities
Administration of the notifications is done on a web interface. The web interface is started when you execute this Customizing action. The corresponding transaction is SWNADMIN. This function has a simplified view, which is specially designed for management of notifications at the customer site.
