Up to 6 columns of the Business Workplace can be filled with contents determined dynamically at runtime, on a task-specific basis.
These columns can be included in the configuration for the Business Workplace. The standard functions for filtering, sorting and grouping are available for these columns.
In this activity, you stipulate the contents of these columns on a task-specific basis and, if applicable, a user-specific basis.
Example
For all work items for the task Revise accounting document, in addition to the work item-specific columns (status, description, creation date, etc), task-related columns with "company code", document number", "document date" and "currency" are also displayed in the integrated inbox.

Activities
- Enter the user to whom the task-related columns are to apply.
If the settings are to apply globally, enter "*" as user.
- Enter the task.
This determines the context, from which the task-related columns get their content.
- Enter an element from the container of the specified task into the appropriate input fields for each column. (You could also use expressions, but this is not advisable for performance reasons).
The value of this expression is established at runtime and displayed in the appropriate column of the Business Workplace.
- Enter a column header in the appropriate input fields.
The column header can only be seen, if the Business Workplace is configured in such a manner that only work items for a task are displayed. Otherwise, the columns have the headers "Attribute 1" to "Attribute 6".
Further notes
Note that the task-related columns must still be included in the configuration of the Business Workplace.
You do not have to complete all columns with task-related contents.
