In this IMG activity, you define default contract schemes for insurance provider types or insurance providers.

If a default contract scheme is defined for an insurance provider or the type to which an insurance provider belongs, the system proposes this value when you create an insurance relationship.

You have defined the following insurance providers:

You have also defined the following contract schemes:

You have specified the following default values for the contract schemes:

PKV            B1

    AOK-2        B2

  • When you create an insurance relationship for the insurance provider DKV, the system proposes the contract scheme B1.
  • When you create an insurance relationship for the insurance provider AOK-2, the system proposes the contract scheme B2.
  • A default value is not specified for insurance provider AOK-1. However, since the insurance provider is assigned to insurance provider type AOK, the system proposes the contract scheme of insurance provider type BN

  1. Determine if you require default values for the contract schemes in your institution.
  2. Assign insurance providers or insurance provider types to contract schemes by specifying:
    • The institution in the Inst. field
    • The insurance provider type in the IPT field or the insurance provider in the Ins. Prov. field.
    • The contract scheme in the ContSc field.
