Description
In this IMG activity, you determine the tax rates for each company code, plant, tax group and handling type. These tax rates are valid from the date specified.
Example
Requirements
You have defined excise duty groups in the IMG activity Set Excise Duty Group.
You have defined handling types in the IMG activity Set Handling Type.
Standard settings
There are no standard settings for this table because the entries are dependent on local authority regulations.
Activities
You must at least enter one tax rate for each company code with the handling type set to **. This denotes the full rate of tax for that company code or plant. Therefore, do not create entries for the handling type which denotes the full rate.
If you enter a new tax rate with a new validity date and the revaluation of taxed inventory is required, you must firstly carry out the revaluation for the last tax rate validity date.
Further notes
Once you have entered a tax rate it is not possible to change or to delete this entry.
You can mask the plant or handling type with **** or ** respectively. Explicit entries take precedence over masked entries.
