Use

In this IMG activity, you define number ranges within which the vehicles are numbered.

A number range can be defined as internal, where the system automatically assigns a number sequentially upon the creation of a document, or as external, where you have to enter manually a number within the number range defined.

Transport

The number range intervals are not included in automatic recording of customizing changes. You must trigger manually all transports of changes to number ranges. To transport those changes, choose Interval -> Transport.

Activities

To define a number range, you have to create a new group:

  1. Insert a group, to which you can assign an internal or an external number interval.
  2. Specify the limits of the number range. The individual number intervals may not overlap. Thus, every number can only occur once.
