In this step, you schedule the background job for updating the confirmations of all communication channels. You need to make the following settings:

  • Initial screen:
    • any job name
    • if required, target computer on which the job should run on
  • Start date: when the job should be started and whether it should be carried out periodically, for example, in the case of delta download.
  • Steps: No entries since the ABAP/4 program to be started is already entered on the corresponding screen. You only need to save the entry.

Standard settings

The background job is already defined by SAP, however, it is not yet scheduled.

Schedule the desired background job, if you want to update the PDC messages of all communication channels in one step.
