In this IMG activity, you create screen variants for the layout of the entry screen for the collective processing of cost centers .

You can determine which fields are displayed and in which order for the individual cost centers.

Default settings

The standard system includes the following list variants for the collective processing of cost centers:

  • Standard one row
  • Standard two rows
  • Standard three rows
  • Standard four rows

You cannot change these list variants. Standard and custom variants can be selected with the input help (F4).

Activities

  1. Check whether the list variants delivered meet your requirements.
  2. If necessary, create new list variants as follows:
    1. Choose Create.
    2. Enter a key for the list variant, a corresponding short text, and the number of rows to be displayed for each cost center.
    3. From the list of the possible fields, select the fields which are to appear in the cost center list.

      Note that you must choose the fields Selection and Cost Center.

    4. If necessary, change the offset in order to change the position of the fields within the row.
    5. Save your entries, and activate the list variant.

Further notes

To ensure that Cost Accounting is active in the given year for the objects in the list variant, you should also check the settings in the IMG activity Maintain Controlling Area.
