The following SAP enhancement is now available for overhead rates:

  • COOM0001 User Exits for Overhead Rates

    You can use the user exists to transfer the following to overhead costing:

    • Values and quantities for a calculation base
    • Percentages or amounts per unit of measure for an overhead rate
    • A credit cost element and a credit cost center or credit order

      This enhancement contains the following components:

    • EXIT_SAPLKASC_001
      • Calculation base
    • EXIT_SAPLKASC_002
      • Overhead rate
    • EXIT_SAPLKASC_003
      • Credit

Look at the documentation for the individual components for examples of how to use them.

Activities

  1. Create an enhancement

    You can either create a new project or use an existing one.

  2. Activate the project

    The enhancement only works once you have activated it.

Further notes

Unlike modifications, enhancements are suitable for release, as they are not part of the original SAP software, but are in the user-defined name space.
