The customer enhancements dealt with below are available in the Project System and internal orders application for use with the plan and actual interest calculations. They are assigned to development class KAHF.

Customer Enhancements for the Actual Interest Calculation

  • KPSHZIN1 - Modification of Line Item Table

Enhancement KPSHZIN1 contains the following enhancement component:
EXIT_SAPLHFC1_001

You can use this enhancement to enter the interest-relevant values for all objects which take part in the interest calculation, or to import them from an external system. You can also stipulate whether the values from the cost and payment tables in the SAP system are imported.

  • KPSHZIN2 - Check Line Item Relevance

    You can use this enhancement to define whether a record from the line item table is part of the interest, depending on the interest profile and interest indicator.

Enhancement KPSHZIN2 contains the following enhancement component:
EXIT_SAPLHFC1_002

  • KPSHZIN4 - Interest Result

    You can use this enhancement to edit the interest calculated for a CO object and to transfer the data to the SAP system or an external system.

Enhancement KPSHZIN3 contains the following enhancement component:
EXIT_SAPLHFC1_004

Enhancements for the Planned Interest Calculation.

The customer enhancements for the planned interest calculation match those for the actual interest calculation. The following enhancements are available for the planned interest calculation:

  • KPSPZIN1 - Read interest-relavant records

    Enhancement KPSPZIN1 contains the following enhancement component:

    • EXIT_SAPLHFC2_001
  • KPSPZIN2 - Check line-item relevance

    This enhancement contains the following enhancement component:

    • EXIT_SAPLHFC2_002
  • KPSPZIN4 - Customer-specific update

    This enhancement contains the following enhancement component:

    • EXIT_SAPLHFC2_004
  • KPSPZIN3 - Determine interest calculation end date

    You can use this enhancement to determine the end date for the interest calculation, using any criteria you want.

    This enhancement contains the following enhancement component:

    • EXIT_SAPLHFC2_003

Activities

  1. Create the enhancement.
  2. Enter a description in field "Project" to activate the selected enhancements. To do this, either create a new project or use an existing project.
  3. Assign the enhancements to the "Project".
  4. Activate the project.

    Once the project is activated, the enhancement takes effect.

Further notes

In contrast to modifications, enhancements are not included in a release since they are not implemented in the SAP standard but are reserved for specific customer needs.

For a detailed description of the enhancement and the interface, refer to the function module documentation. If you have used the enhancements in a release before 4.0A, note the following:

  • Optional parameters have been added to the parameters.
  • Customer enhancement KPSHZIN3 (Interest result) is no longer available.
