In this step, you can create your own object overviews for scheduling in standard networks.

The overviews are created using a method which is referred to as "variable lists".

For each overview that you create, you create a so-called "overview variant". For this overview variant you determine:

  • the objects that are to be displayed in the overview, for example, activities.
  • the fields that are to be displayed for each object, for example, dates or quantities.

Standard settings

SAP has predefined overviews and overview variants.

In the following sections, you learn how to create your own overviews.

  1. Create overview variants

    This section describes how to create overview variants.

  2. Specify objects

    This section describes how to specify the individual objects you want to output in the overview.

  3. Specify fields

    This section describes how to select fields and determine the overview layout.

Once you created your overview variants

  1. Save the overview variant you want as the default value for the date overviews in the standard network profile. To do this, enter the overview variant in the field Sched. OvervVar. Maintain standard network profile
  2. You can transport your settings. To do this, choose Table view -> Transport.
