In this step you can create your own object overviews for work center where-used lists or for replacing work centers in standard networks.

You create overviews using a technique called "variable lists".

For each overview you create, you also create a so-called overview variant. You specify the following for these overview variants:

  • the objects to be displayed in the overview, for example, activities
  • the fields to be displayed per object, for example, dates or quantities

Standard settings

SAP provides you with overviews and overview variants in the standard system.

  1. Create overview variants

    This section describes how you create overview variants.

  2. Specify objects

    This section describes how you determine the individual objects to be displayed in the overview.

  3. Specify fields

    This section describes how to select fields and determine the layout of the overview.

  4. You can transport your settings. To do this, select the menu options Table view -> Transport.
