In this step, you define number ranges for activities in Controlling and assign the activities relevant to detailed planning to a number range group.
Note
You define the document number ranges in CO independently of the fiscal year.
Recommendation
We recommend that you create separate number range groups for plan and actual activities, so that you can reset the number ranges separately when running reorganization programs which run separately for plan and actual data.
Activities
Assign the following activities to a number range group:
- RKP1 Planning primary costs
- RKP3 Planning activity input
- RKP4 Planning statistical key figures
- RKP5 Planning revenue elements
You transport number range objects as follows:
Choose Interval -> Transport in the accounting document Number Range screen.
All intervals for the selected number range object are deleted in the target system first. After the import, only the intervals you export are present. The number statuses are imported with their values at the time of export.
Dependent tables are not transported or converted.
