In this step, you define number ranges for activities in Controlling and assign the activities relevant to overhead calculation to a number range group.
Note
You define the document number ranges in CO regardless of the fiscal year.
Recommendation
SAP recommends that you create separate number range groups for planned and actual activities, so that you can reset the number ranges separately when running reorganization programs for planned and actual data.
Activities
Assign the following activities to a number range group:
- KZPP Periodic overheads PLANNED
- KZPI Periodic overheads ACTUAL
Notes for Transport
You transport number range objects as follows:
Choose Interval -> Transport in the accounting document Number Range screen.
All intervals for the selected number range object are deleted in the target system first. After the import, only the intervals you export are present. The number statuses are imported with their values at the time of export.
Dependent tables are not transported or converted.
