The following SAP enhancement is available for project views in the project information system:
CNEX0010
The creation of customer-specific hierarchies in the logical database of the Project System.
In the standard Project System, there are several predefined project views with predefined hierarchies for the information system.
You can use this enhancement to define additional project views. The hierarchy type 99 is available for your project views.
Enhancement CNEX0010 contains the following enhancement components:
EXIT_FDBPS000_001 Project view in the information system
Requirements
Before you can develop this enhancement, you must first have completed the action Define project view. Make an entry in table V_TCNDS with hierarchy type 99.
Activities
- Create the enhancement.
To do this, either create a new project or use an existing one. - Edit the enhancement components:
Add to the program coding for the function exit EXIT_FDBPS000_001. This function exit transfers SAP data to your part of the program.
To do this, call up the function module and double-click on the include line. Create the include module. - Activate the project.
Only once you have activated the project, will your enhancement take effect.
Further notes
Unlike modifications, enhancements are not influenced by a release upgrade because they are not part of the original SAP programs, rather, they exist in an area reserved for customers.
