In this step, you make the following settings:

  1. In the entry SEMIN HISTO you can specify what type of message is output if an attempt is made to change (cancel, rebook, replace) an attendance record that is historically recorded.
  2. In the entry SEMIN WKAPM, you can specify a maximum waiting list capacity by specifying what percentage of the maximum number of attendees may be put on the waiting list of a business event.
  3. In the entry SEMIN WKAPT, you can specify what type of message is output if an attempt is made to create more that the allowed number of waiting list bookings.

The following settings are possible for message types:

Message type        Meaning

(Blank)        No check is performed, no message

        is output -> Changes/bookings are

        allowed.

E (Error message)        No change/booking may be

        made.

W (Warning)        When you confirm the warning, the

        change/booking may be made.

I (Information)        The change/booking may be made.

Requirements

Standard settings

In the standard system, no message types are set.

No maximum waiting list capacity is defined.

Recommendation

Set the message type to E if you want to allow no changes to attendance records that have been historically recorded or if you do not want to allow the maximum waiting list capacity to be exceeded.

Activities

  1. In the entry SEMIN HISTO set the message type that should apply for changes to historically recorded attendance.
  2. In the entry SEMIN WKAPM, enter a percentage to define the maximum waiting list capacity.
  3. In the entry SEMIN WKAPT, set the message type that should apply when a booking is created after maximum waiting list capacity has been reached.
