In this step, you define cost items in Training and Event Management for the cost transfer function.
For each cost item, you specify a start date, an end date and a long text. In addition, you must specify an amount, a currency, and a reference unit (attendee or business event) or a time unit, or the combination 'Attendees per time unit'.
If you intend to post costs to Controlling, you must also enter a cost element for each cost item in PE and flag the cost item as 'relevant for transfer'.
You use cost items when you store costs for a resource or a resource type in the 'Costs' infotype.
These costs (subdivided into cost items) can be transferred to Controlling and used to calculate a price proposal for a business event.
