In this section you convert the extended exception handling in case an incorrect status has been confirmed from an external system.
You can resend the relevant IDoc in the new exception handling.
Example
An IDoc has not been correctly converted in the EDI subsystem which returns the status '05' to the SAP system. The agent responsible can attempt to transfer the IDoc again to the EDI subsystem in exception handling.
Standard settings
This exception handling is already set in the standard system. Therefore this activity is only relevant after a release change and not after a first installation.
Activities
Execute the activity. In maintain status the corresponding status is set to the new process code EDIR (old code: EDIS).
You can execute a testrun. The system does not change. You can see what the system would change in the output log: The statuses are displayed which are still assigned to EDIS.
